Wall Street indices open slightly lower on Monday
US indices opened trading on Monday with weak movements, experiencing a slight decline.
However, the overall outlook remains positive for the indices in the long term.
Indices' movements
Amid current tensions and investor anticipation, the US indices opened as follows:
The Dow Jones opened slightly lower by 0.14%, and continued its decline, reaching levels around 48,380.
The forecast still points to a rise in the Dow Jones to levels around 49,613.
The Nasdaq opened very slightly higher by 0.23%, but despite this, the index fell to levels around 25,060. Forecasts indicate that the index is likely to continue its correction, potentially reaching levels around 25,600 in the near term.
The S&P opened with a slight rise of 0.22%, and the index continued to rise to levels of $6838. The price action still indicates a continuation of the rise in the medium term to levels of $7050, and we expect to see a breakout of these levels for the index to complete the upward movement in the long term.
